Biblical person: Isaac
Creative activities and ideas based on the biblical figure of Isaac
Isaac is the second son of Abraham, but Abraham's heir because his mother was Sarah. Isaac is also called the second patriarch. He is known from the Bible story in which his father was required by God to sacrifice him on Mount Moriah. He also appears in the Bible story of the search for his bride Rebecca, and in the Bible story in which Jacob deceives him. Isaac always seems to play a kind of suffering role, having little grip on what is happening around him, rather than being a powerful character who takes action on his own.
