Cain and Abel are the first brothers in the Bible. Cain is a farmer and Abel is a shepherd. Both make a sacrifice to God, but God rejects Cain's sacrifice and accepts Abel's sacrifice. Cain becomes so angry at this that he beats his brother Abel to death. God banishes Cain who is forced to live a wandering life, but ends up building a great city.
