There’s a large puddle of water on the pathway. Some people walk straight through it and get wet shoes. Then a boy comes along. He puts large stepping stones in the water to form a sort of bridge, so that not only he but also everyone else coming after him can walk across to the other side. Jesus also made a bridge between us and God.
