Prayer idea - Christmas (1): Zechariah meets the angel Gabriel - Prayer candles

Use candles or incense sticks in this creative prayer idea on the priest Zechariah meeting the angel Gabriel 

In the Bible, we read about the use of incense in the temple as a symbol of prayers ascending to God. In this activity the children will use incense sticks or candles during their prayer time as a reminder of how our prayers can rise up to God like the fragrant smoke or candlelight.
