It's important to talk nicely to ourselves, especially when we talk to God in our hearts. Jesus once told a story about two people who prayed differently. One person, called the tax collector, said sorry to God for his mistakes and asked for help. The other person, called the Pharisee, thought he was better than everyone else and didn't say sorry for anything.
Jesus said that God likes it when we are honest and humble, like the tax collector. Even if we make mistakes, we can always ask God for help and forgiveness, and he will listen to us. We don't have to pretend to be perfect or better than others, because we are all special and loved by God just the way we are. So let's be kind and honest to ourselves and to others, and ask God for help whenever we need it!
