Object lesson- NT: Life of Jesus 09: A leper healed - Empathy exercise

In this activity children can practise showing empathy and feeling what others feel

In Mark 1:35-45, we see that Jesus has compassion for the leper. He feels his pain and reaches out to him. He seeks to connect with those in need. In this exercise, we want children to reflect on who they feel empathy for and to experience the joy of helping others.

This activity is part of a complete Sunday School lesson on the Bible story of Jesus healing a man of leprosy in Mark 1: 35-45.
