Icebreaker - NT. Life of Jesus 04: Jesus' baptism - Twice the truth and once a lie
An icebreaker that will get the children thinking about what is true and what is not
The children have to write three things about themselves, one of which is not true, and the others in the group have to guess which facts are true and which are not. A fun activity that introduces the idea of what we believe, and which links to the baptism of Jesus in which John said that he was not the Messiah and God said that Jesus was His son. Who do you believe?
This idea is part of a complete Sunday school lesson on the baptism of Jesus in Matthew 3:13–17, Mark 1:9–11 and Luke 3:21–22.
