As Jesus is hanging on the cross he calls out ‘Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing’. This fun game illustrates what is involved as we also try to forgive people. Using newspaper bats and balls, the children try to bat the balls into a target. 

This idea is part of a complete Sunday school lesson on the Easter Bible story in Luke 23:26-56.
