A children’s moment for during a church service on Isaac's birth

In this activity we will focus on the story of Isaac's birth and examine the significance of the characters and their names. In the Bible, names often hold special meanings that are carefully chosen to fit the situation and person. The children will explore the meaning of their own names.                      

This activity is part of a complete Sunday school lesson on the Bible story in Genesis 21: 1-21 on the birth of Isaac and the banishment of Hagar and Ishmael.
