Welcome to Lesson 39, Year 1, of our 'Bible Adventure' children's ministry curriculum. This programme is flexible, allowing you to use the entire lesson plan as is or select specific activities to create a lesson that is tailored to your group. In this lesson, we focus on the Bible story of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit comes and fills the disciples in Jerusalem. Flames of fire appear above their heads, and they boldly proclaim the good news of the gospel in various languages they had not previously spoken. Thousands of people become believers. Pentecost is the birth of the church!
