Bartholomew was one of the twelve apostles chosen by Jesus to spread the Gospel. He is also known as Nathanael in the Gospel of John. According to tradition, Bartholomew preached in India and Armenia after Jesus' death and resurrection.  Despite the limited information available about Bartholomew in the Bible, he is still remembered and honored as one of Jesus' closest followers and a faithful disciple who spread the good news of salvation to the world.
