Creative activities based on the Bible story of Moses sends out twelve spies
The Bible story of Moses and the twelve spies is found in Numbers chapters 13 and 14. As the Israelites approached the promised land of Canaan, Moses sent twelve spies to explore the land and report back. Ten of the spies came back with a fearful report, saying that the land was full of giants and it would be impossible to conquer it. Only two, Joshua and Caleb, had faith that God would deliver the land to the Israelites. As a result of their disobedience and lack of faith, the Israelites wandered in the wilderness for forty years before entering the promised land.
This story teaches us about the importance of faith and trust in God, and the consequences of disobedience and fear. It also shows us that God's plans are greater than our own, and that He will be faithful to His promises.
