The Bible story of Moses and the first priests is found in Exodus chapters 28-29. After God instructed Moses to build the tabernacle, He also instructed Moses to appoint Aaron and his sons as priests. These priests were to offer sacrifices on behalf of the people and lead the worship in the tabernacle. God gave specific instructions on how the priests were to dress, what sacrifices they were to offer, and how they were to be consecrated.
