The Bible story of Balaam's donkey is found in Numbers chapters 22-24. Balaam was a prophet who was hired by the king of Moab to curse the Israelites. Along the way, Balaam's donkey saw an angel of the Lord standing in the way with a drawn sword and turned aside three times, causing Balaam to beat the donkey. Finally, God opened the mouth of the donkey, and it spoke to Balaam, warning him of the angel.

This story teaches us about the importance of listening to God and paying attention to His signs, and how He can use even unlikely circumstances to get our attention. It also reminds us of God's sovereignty and power, and how He can use anyone or anything to accomplish His purposes.
