You may have a sword and a spear, but I come to you in the name of the LORD
David went down to the stream which separated the two armies. He picked out five small smooth stones, just right. GOLIATH couldn't believe his eyes! He couldn't hope to win! Sending out a little loser like that! How dare they insult him! "Am I a dog?" he asked "Going to throw a stick for me, are we, boy? You come any nearer, you titchy little pipsqueak and I'll feed you to the birds....." and he swore at him and at the Lord God.
David shouted back "You may have a sword and a spear, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of the armies of heaven and Israel - the very God you insult. Today the LORD will conquer you, and I will kill you, and I will feed you and all your army to the birds.... so there! Then the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel, and he doesn't need weapons of war to sort out his plans!" (1 Samuel 17)
