“Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?"
Saul was so determined to stamp out this idea, that when he heard there was another group of Jesus' friends spreading the same rumour in Damascus, he set off down the road from Jerusalem to Damascus to deal with it once and for all. He was nearly there when suddenly out of the blue he was stopped in his tracks by a brilliant white light! He fell to the ground (act it out) . He heard a voice speaking to him out of the light saying "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? "
"Who are you, Lord?" he asked.
"I am Jesus! Get up, and go into the city, and you will be told what to do next!". His friends were speechless - they could hear the sound, but they couldn't see anyone.
