Object lesson - Mission Sunday: ‘The great gift of faith’

When does a present become a cross?

Maybe it’s nearly Mission Sunday, or you have a visiting missionary who’s going to give a talk. In this series of twelve ideas we’re going to be looking at ways to illustrate this. The first six ideas can be used for various children’s moments, and the last six ideas are a complete Sunday School programme on the subject of mission.


In this fourth idea:

We’re going to think about how amazing and how unique it is that we can have faith.

On Mission Sunday we think about people who have maybe never heard the gospel. Being a Christian has become so normal for us, that we have stopped being astonished by it. Hopefully this idea will help people to realise that faith is a great gift.
