Safety / security in the Bible: Creative activities for your children's ministry

"Is the lion Aslan safe? No, of course he's not safe, but he's good!" A famous quote from the first Narnia book by C.S. Lewis. Is God safe? Are you always safe with God? What does God protect us from, or not protect us from?

Safety and security are important themes in the Bible, which means that God is shown to protect and keep his people safe.

However, this doesn't always mean that we will be free from harm or danger. Trusting in God and having faith in his plan is important when things feel scary or uncertain.

It's important for us to create a safe and secure environment for ourselves and for others. We can feel safe by having a relationship with God and by following his guidance in our lives.

These themes remind us that we are never alone and that we can always turn to God for help and protection.

On this page you will find creative ideas, resources and activities relating to safety and security which you can use in your children’s work, children’s church, Sunday school, or Christian primary school.
