Story - Jesus raises Lazarus (sketchboard)

Lazarus, come out of the tomb!

"Have you ever looked after someone who was ill?  It can be hard work can't it?  Martha and her sister, Mary, were busy looking after their brother Lazarus, who was very ill.  He didn't seem to be getting any better.  Oh, if only Jesus was here!  they said to each other.  Why would that make a difference?  Jesus was their friend, and they were sure he would know what to do.  So they sent a messenger to tell him that Lazarus was ill.  Surely now he would come, and everything would be all right.  But Lazarus got worse and worse."
