Object lesson - NT: Parable of the talents - Create a talent show
Create a fun talent show!
The children learn how to present their talents to others. In addition, they are given responsibility for certain tasks and it really becomes their talent show.

Activity
Do:
The children can participate in a talent show. They can decide for themselves what they will do at the talent show.
Start brainstorming with the children about what they could do and also brainstorm with the children about what is needed for a talent show. Divide the tasks for the talent show among the children. For example, the decoration of the talent show, the programme, the presenter. The children can start working on their tasks. Then the children have the opportunity to practise or prepare other things.
A tip?
1. It is useful if children know a week in advance that a talent show is coming up. Then they can prepare themselves and possibly bring things from home.
2. It is important to agree with the children that everyone only gets a certain number of minutes (for instance 5 minutes, depending on the number of children participating). In addition, it is important to encourage the children as much as possible and to take the tasks off their hands as little as possible.
