Game - OT: Abram (2) goes on a journey - The removal box race
Abram knew how it was to move house
The Lord said to Abram “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.’
As an introduction you can talk about moving house. Which of the children has ever moved house? What was it like? If you were going to move house now, and were only allowed to take one thing with you, what would you take? Read the story of Abram together. He was told to move house, because God had promised him a beautiful new country. What do you think he would have taken with him? You may like to talk about this after the race.
This activity is part of a complete Sunday school lesson on the Bible story of Abram's journey to the promised and him creating an altar when he arrives there.
