Hold the magnet above the cornflakes and move it around slowly. As some of the cornflakes move towards the magnet, explain how love and kindness can be like a magnet, drawing people towards other people, such like the Samaritan in the parable.

You can also try picking up some of the cornflakes with the magnet, and explain how God’s love can transform even the smallest things, like a single cornflake, into something meaningful and valuable.

Try moving the magnet back and forth over the cornflakes, and see how this affects their movement. This can be a way to illustrate how the Good Samaritan's actions can have a ripple effect, inspiring others to show love and kindness towards one another.

Our love and kindness can be like a magnet, attracting and drawing people towards us. Through our actions, even the smallest things can become meaningful and valuable. Just as the cornflakes are drawn towards the magnet, we can be drawn towards the love and compassion of God, and in turn, show love and kindness towards others.
