An fun interactive idea to pay attention to Mother's Day during a children's moment in church
On Mother’s Day take a basket of random household objects with you for the children’s moment in the service. Ask a few children to come forward and choose an object. Ask them to give their own mum a compliment based on the object they have chosen.
For example:
- a bread knife – she makes the best sandwiches
- ear phones – she always listens to me
- a clown’s red nose – she makes me laugh
- a children’s book – she reads aloud to me every evening.
