Bible story: Jesus heals the paralysed man

Creative activities based on the Bible story of Jesus heals the paralysed man

In this story found in Matthew 9:1-8, Mark 2:1-12, and Luke 5:17-26, Jesus heals a paralyzed man in front of a crowd. The man's friends bring him on a mat to see Jesus, but the house is so crowded that they can't get inside. So they lower him down through the roof.

Jesus sees their faith and tells the man that his sins are forgiven. The religious leaders accuse Jesus of blasphemy, but Jesus asks them which is easier, to forgive sins or to heal the man. He then tells the paralyzed man to stand up and walk, and the man is healed, walking out in front of the amazed crowd.
