Object lesson: ‘Mr. Torch and his friend Battery’ - Joshua's defeat at Ai

A fun object lesson for your Sunday school lesson on Joshua

Use this object lesson in your Sunday school lesson, children's ministry, Bible lesson or youth ministry to tell the Bible story of Joshua, who wants to take the village of Ai. Instead of being obedient and trusting in God, Joshua decides to trust in his own strength. The end results are not very good, to say the least!

How can you tell this story in a different way? Let me introduce you to Mr. Torch and his friend Battery. It is the story of Joshua’s defeat, but a slightly different version...
