An easy Bible story on Jesus healing the daughter of the Canaanite woman
"How would your Mum feel if you were desperately ill? People nowadays will go to any lengths to get help – even taking a child to a special hospital in a foreign country – they will borrow thousands of pounds if need be, to get help for their child.
This woman didn't have that option. She was from the hills, she didn't have lots of money. But she had heard about Jesus. He was her only hope! She would not give up. She kept on after them, calling out.....
“Please, please Jesus – have a pity on me! My little daughter! Will you help me?” (Mark 7: 24-30, Matthew 15: 21)
This is a sketchboard story written by Korky and Anni Davey (OAC Ministries) on Jesus healing the daugther of the Syrophoenician woman in Mark 7 v.24-30 and Matthew 15 v. 21.
It is quite an easy painting to do, otherwise you can tell the story without painting.
