Worshipping God is more than singing songs
What a strange combination in this title! Is it really possible to combine the word 'junk' with worshipping God? In this specific case I think you can!
What is worship? Very often when we take a hard look at our children's ministry we have to come to the conclusion that the only way that we teach children to worship God is through singing. 'Worship equals singing' and 'singing equals worship'
.
But what do you do when you have some boys (or even girls) in your Sunday school, kids ministry, kids club, etc who don't like singing? Who even refuse to sing? Who will boycot any attempt to singing by making jokes, funny movements or funny sounds?
Yes, this has all happened to me in the past! Can we help these children or teenagers to worship even though they won't sing?
