Bible Story: ‘Zaccheaus the Bully’ - sketchboard

Tell this story of Zacchaeus in a school assembly, a children’s program or in a preach

"There was one person who didn't dare to go out in the crowd.  His name was (Paint in ZACCHAEUS) Mr. Good. (Zacchaeus means Righteous)  But he wasn't at all good, he was very mean (Paint it in) and horrible.

Do you think he had lots of friends?  No, he was very lonely.  (Paint in Lonely). In fact he wasn't just lonely, but he was this word too (Paint in Hated).  He was hated because he was dishonest - he was a thief, AND he was a bully....  He was in charge of collecting taxes for the Romans, who were the enemies of his people, the Jews.

Bible story for children Zacchaeus to be used in a Sunday school lesson or kidmin

But he didn't just take the money for the taxes, he took a whole lot extra.  He would put the money for the Romans into a bag marked R for Romans, and the rest of it into a bag marked Z for Zacchaeus. What do we call that?  Stealing.  Does God like us to take things that don't belong to us?  No, he doesn't!" (Luke 19: 1-10)
